News : SHI Goes Live in SIS on 4/20/09!
The Student Health Insurance component of the new Student Information System (SIS) goes live on 4/20/09 for Law students and on 4/27/09 for Quarter students.
New students can use the SIS to select or waive coverage beginning with SU09 term.
Returning students can use the SIS to request Off-Term coverage for SU09 term and/or to select or waive coverage for the 2009-2010 plan year beginning with AU09 term.
Note: Returning students who have already selected or waived Student Health Insurance for the 2008-2009 plan year, should NOT need to make a new insurance selection for SU09. However, ALL students are encouraged to verify their insurance enrollment / waiver status by viewing their online Account Statement at the beginning of each term (including SU09).
To access the new insurance selection/waiver system, start at www.buckeyelink.osu.edu and navigate to your “Student Center”. From there, scroll down to the "Finances" section. Under the “Student Health Insurance” heading, there will be a link to “Select / Waive Coverage” and a link for “Eligibility and Fees”.
