Confirm Your Enrollment in the Student Health Benefits Plan
Each academic year, domestic students at all campuses enrolled at least half-time in a degree program of study are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Benefits Plan.
International students enrolled in any credit hours are automatically enrolled in the Student Health Benefits Plan.
Students that meet the eligibility requirements and wish to remain enrolled in the Student Health Benefits Plan must confirm their enrollment by completing the ENROLL process in Buckeye Link before their first semester each academic year. For most students that is autumn semester.
Students that would like to add eligible dependents must do so when completing the Enroll process before their first semester each academic year. Dependents cannot be added outside of the Enroll window unless you experience a Life Event.
The deadline to ENROLL for the 2026-27 academic year is August 18, 2026.
How to Enroll
BEFORE the deadline
- Log in to Buckeye Link
- Select Student Health Insurance under Finances
- Click Enroll in Student Health Benefits Plan
- Choose your academic term and coverage level. If adding dependents, enter their required information
Your enrollment is finalized once the insurance fee posts to your Statement of Account (usually within 2 business days).
Check your Statement of Account each semester to confirm your coverage
AFTER the deadline
Eligible students unable to enroll through Buckeye Link before the deadline must submit an Enrollment Request.
